Delivery after Brexit

Short answer - Everything is business as usual, you can order with confidence with NO EXTRA CHARGES (although possibly a very small delay due to transit times at customs clearance).

 

Long answer - The UK has now left the European Union. What this means is that the UK is now operating separately to European laws. The effect of this is that the UK is now treated as a Foreign country which means that we are now subject to all customs and duties that usually trigger when receiving or sending a package, for instance, this means we are treated the same as if sending or receiving from America. 

To smooth the transition, we made the decision to send all packages as DDP (Delivery Duties Paid). What this means is that all the paperwork and customs fees and duties are paid in advance by Vendula and NOT by you the customer. So the price you see during checkout is the only price you pay, no nasty surprise customs taxes.

Once your package is paid for and packaged, we add all the relevant customs paperwork and when your package reaches your country, there should be very little delay as the customs team in your country check the information and that all duties and taxes are paid (Which they are due to DDP), they then release your package to the local courier who will then deliver your package to you.

To most countries this is simply a change of receiving packages from the UK into the same inbound lanes as something from America. The same checks are carried out and the same paperwork used, so the process for most countries should be seamless. However there may be a short delay in your country as these changes are made, of which we have no control over.

All in all we have done everything possible to make sure that your experience shopping with us is not disrupted and that any delays (if any), are minimal.
